Sooo Happy Belated Holidays! Lol...
My break has been pretty uneventful thus far. I'm kinda boring, I guess...in a sense that I'd rather be at home or in a lounuge somewhere listening to music, or writing, than out partying and clubbing. So during the holidays, I'm content staying in, vibing with family. And my iTunes library. So that's exactly what I did. Also, there was a Criminal Minds marathon on A&E...you KNOW I was glued to the television all day lol. 
My baby brother came to town and spent the week with me. {BTW, as I typed that last sentence, I realized that it's after midnight, which means it's my baby brother's 15th birthday. I stop typing my blog and call him, and this ninja doesn't even answer the phone! SMH!} He just went home today, which means my home is back to no more stinky socks and food wrappers everywhere. Don't ask.
My hair is kinda beginning to take on a life of it's own. But I like it... It's getting big, and free, and...well...me. I love it. Sometimes I think about feeding it a taste of that creamy crack, but the progress my hair's made isn't worth it. So I'll keep loving my big, gorgeous curls! Lol.
I've been watching the movie Love Jones like every night lately...it's almost becoming a compulsion. The strange part is that I watch the movie as much for the music as I do for the film itself. Have you ever listened to the Love Jones Soundtrack? I love it! It's been in heavy rotation... It even has Darius & Nina's poems from the movie. Larenz Tate is still the blues in our left thighs and trying to become the funk in our right.... that man... lol. My favorite Coltrane-featured piece (In a Sentimental Mood) is also on the soundtrack, and that makes me smile with my heart.

Boring Day...♥

Yeah, I really don't have much to say today...
It's crazy because I usually have like 2+ posts per day (lol) but today I'm just...blah. 
I've got some randoms, though.


I'm crampy... and I know certain people have said they don't want to hear about stuff like that (lol), but it is relevant to my current state of mind! So...yeah!


I miss Christian (boyfriend) a lot... like a lot a lot. It's one of those days... long-distance lovers will know what I mean.


I'm kind of heartbroken about that little girl Shaniya being found...and the circumstances surrounding it. Sometimes I question the field I'm studying to be in, because some cases just get to you...I wonder if I'll ever be ready for that...

I hate it when birds poop on my windshield... I blame the little wannabe player who just moved into my apartment complex. Why? Because his groupie hoes female friends come over here taking up parking spaces that are for those who actually pay rent, leaving us to have to park on the side by the big tree filled with chirping poop factories! Hhmph!


I can't wait to get my degree... I know the Bachelor's is like the new diploma, but I'm just so over Undergrad right now...I feel like I'm high school on steroids. Grown ass, fast ass, simple ass kids. SMH...

OMG!!!♥

Soooo I was just too excited and I had to tell someone...
I'm in love...
With the show Criminal Minds.
It's like amazingness, wrapped up in awesomeness, with a side of "Oh hell yes!!!" Where has this show BEEN all my life??? Shemar Moore, an underlying love story, AND my dream job (Behavior Analyst/Criminal Profiler)??? Don't play!
I think the episode I just watched (which clearly ended half an hour ago, and I'm still raving about it) is my favorite so far!!
Bottom Line: The team was looking for a killer, who they discovered was a cannibal, and during the search party for the most recently kidnapped victim, the cannibal actually FED the volunteers a chili. Main ingredient: the girl they were searching for! OMG. What???
Lol. So I guess I have this little fascination/intrigue with cannibalism.
The Silence of the Lambs has been my favorite movie pretty much forever. Of course, Hannibal Lecter is my favorite movie character of all time. Not because I think cannibalism is cool or anything....I'm just interested in the cannibal. I'd love to study them!!
So again, I say...OMG!
