Where Are You?!♥
Does anyone remember this song? Before her milkshake started bringing all the boys to the yard, Kelis made me a lifelong fan with this song. I don't care how hot of a mess she is, this song is fire to me! She's such an underrated artist, in my opinion, and even though this was one of her singles, she has a lot of music that hasn't been heard by most people unless they've bought her albums. Anywho, I love Kelis. I think Kaleidoscope was her best album, and I wish she'd make more music like that again!

I don't even remember this one. The song that I remember first hearing by her is the one where she's wildin out, "Caught out There"
ReplyDeleteI'm curious as to what you think about her recent uhmmm endeavors with Nas, their baby, and her thousands of dollars of child support/alimony daily. From what I can tell, she's kind of triflin. But maybe that's just me. lol
Yeah, I think this song came after Caught Out There, but IDK, she had some pretty nice music back then...I'm not sure what happened lol, but she's a pretty hot mess these days! And I love Nas!! I was rooting for them but...hey!

ReplyDeleteI remember that crazy ol drug induced video. LOL I liked the first album, but I don't think I ever bought it. Milkshake was horrible to me. Even more so, that it kept getting played over and over and over...
ReplyDeleteLmao @ "drug-induced"... kinda redundant in videos these days lol. But yeah, everything after Kaleidoscope was just a mess. Whenever I hear Milkshake I think of Regina's little sister in the movie Mean Girls, dancing with her shirt pulled up trying to be fast! SMH
